MusicDays Vianden 2023

3 – 5 November 2023

3 days – 3 venues – 6 concerts

For three days, Vianden will be immersed in a celebration of musical diversity – during the fourth edition of the MusicDays Festival, music will resonate in a wide range of styles, appealing to both young and old.

The opening concert on Friday will feature the enchanting sounds of the harp, followed later in the evening by the captivating tunes of a jazz combo with vocals at the Ancien Cinéma.

On Saturday afternoon, the Trinitarian Church will provide the perfect setting for an immersion into the world of Baroque music. In the evening, jazz vocalist Tamara Lukasheva, hailing from Odessa and residing in Cologne for many years, along with her quartet featuring Luxembourgish drummer Mathieu Clement, will melodiously animate Vianden Castle.

In the same location on Sunday morning, the “Monster of Colors” will make an appearance – a musical tale designed for children aged four to eight. The MusicDays will conclude on Sunday afternoon with a chamber music concert paying tribute to Brahms and the Hungarian composer György Ligeti, who would have celebrated his 100th anniversary in May 2023.
