What happens when the cooking pot gets a little jealous? When the whisk doesn’t dare to leave the drawer? And when the lid and the spoon start whispering secrets to each other?

In Kichegerabbels, the kitchen becomes a stage: everyday objects come to life and weave themselves into whimsical stories filled with big emotions, small misunderstandings, and delightful twists.

Music, movement, and language interlace to give us a completely new perspective on the things we use every day without thinking much about them. Through the interplay of sound, rhythm, and movement, each object gains its own voice and role.

Inspired by Bohuslav Martinů’s La Revue de Cuisine, this production playfully and visually combines chamber music, object theater, and storytelling. Kichegerabbels is also presented as a Relaxed Performance (25.3.2026), thereby contributing to reducing barriers to theater.
