Vivaldi’s Gloria, with its remarkable musical richness and variety of form and structure, is one of the masterpieces of sacred music. Its striking contrast makes it one of Vivaldi’s finest creations. The Ensemble Vocal du CMNord and an instrumental ensemble on period instruments combine this grandiose work with works by Francesco Durante and Johann Michael Bach.
